MCI names employee of the month for November
The Mitchell Cancer Institute has named Natoshia Ford, RN, a nurse on the GI oncology team, employee of the month for November. Natoshia’s peers describe her as organized, efficient, adaptable, and always willing to step in wherever she is needed.
Known for her warm demeanor and positive attitude, she makes both patients and co-workers feel seen and supported, embodying the mission of USA Health each day. “Natoshia is the definition of going above and beyond. She is a great nurse, a great co-worker, and a reliable, solid, fantastic staff member. She is always asking, ‘What do you need me to do?’ And she means it. She is truly willing to help anyone with anything.”
Internal Medicine names JaKeith Bell employee of the month
JaKeith Bell, a care access associate, was named employee of the month for November for the Department of Internal Medicine. When asked how it feels to be recognized, Bell said he doesn’t see it as “winning” because he views his co-workers as equals. For him, this recognition simply shows how far he’s willing to go — working harder, pushing further, and giving more than he ever has before.
He loves being a calming, friendly presence who makes patients feel at ease, heard, and genuinely valued. His ability to create comfort and connection is truly a gift.
Those who have worked with Bell know that he loves his co-workers, and he enjoys teaming up with the amazing staff in the cardiology clinic. There, he finds real fulfillment in those moments when everyone comes together to make a difference for patients.
