Austin named employee of the month
Theresa Austin, RN, a nurse in medical oncology/hematology at the Mitchell Cancer Institute, was named employee of the month for November.
Among the comments made in her nomination: “Theresa hit the ground running and has seamlessly navigated the responsibility of being the nurse for all of the hematology/oncology fellows, and even supporting some of the attendings. She takes this role very seriously, and handles any obstacle with a smile, a positive attitude, and with grace.”
