Kevelyn Fields named July employee of month for internal medicine
USA Health Internal Medicine named Kevelyn Fields, a care access associate at Mastin Internal Medicine, its employee of the month for July. Although Fields was recently hired full-time with the academic health system, she received seven nominations recognizing her steady commitment to patient needs, her consistent smile, invariable willingness to help others, and positive attitude.
Fields said she chose to work in healthcare because she is passionate about helping others, having a positive impact on individuals’ lives and being a role model for her children. She gives credit to her co-workers, manager and patients for making her job rewarding. “Winning employee of the month means a lot to me because I love where I work and who I work with,” she said. “It is easy to always have a smile and a good attitude when you truly enjoy the people you are around and what you do.”
