SHIELD is going live June 3
SHIELD training is underway for managers, with tip sheets and a video available for frontline staff.

A letter from Michael Chang, M.D., FACS, system chief medical officer and associate vice president for medical affairs:
I am reaching out to announce that we are launching a new safety reporting platform. This new platform will be called SHIELD (Safety, Harm Identification, Event Logging & Detection), and will replace RL6 when we go live on Tuesday, June 3.
SHIELD training is underway for managers, with tip sheets and a video available for frontline staff. While similar to RL6, SHIELD includes new features we want you to be familiar with using. A HealthStream training video will guide all USA Health team members through file entry.
A new intranet launch page for all RLDatix apps is coming soon. Watch for updates and fun contests during go-live week. Team members will be onsite to promote SHIELD and assist with any issues in real time.
We’re making great strides thanks to your support. For SHIELD or RLDatix training questions, please contact Stephanie Grabowsky ([email protected]).
Thank you,
Michael Chang, M.D., FACS
