Community members laced up for a great cause and continued a nearly two-decade tradition of supporting life-changing research for women across the Gulf Coast.  

Besides building more awareness, the events serve as a reminder of the importance of continued research, treatment advances, and family-centered care.

His research focuses on antimicrobial stewardship, particularly optimizing perioperative antibiotic prophylaxis.

Finishing the IRONMAN World Championship is part of a promise Scott Christmas made 30 years ago when he was fighting for his life at USA Medical Center, now USA Health University Hospital.
