Ice cream socials set during Hospital Week
In celebration of National Hospital Week, USA Health University Hospital and USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital will hold ice cream socials for their employees.
In celebration of National Hospital Week, USA Health University Hospital and USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital will hold ice cream socials for their employees Thursday, May 14, from 7:30-9 p.m. and Friday, May 15, from 2-4 p.m. in the UH cafeteria conference room and CWH cafeteria. The event will feature Cammie’s Old Dutch ice cream.
USA Health hospitals have rescheduled the annual employee picnic for Friday, Oct. 2, to comply with social distancing guidelines designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The picnic had been planned for May 15.
Department heads, managers and supervisors are invited to participate in serving staff at the ice cream socials to show their appreciation. Supervisors at Children’s & Women’s Hospital can sign up for shifts through the leadership folder, while University Hospital managers may sign up using this Google sheet.
