In an effort to help employees improve their skills, USA Health offers free online training on Microsoft Excel. Beginner, intermediate and advanced video lessons are available through HealthStream, with each video lasting 15 to 20 minutes.

“Most everyone can benefit from learning Excel. You can save time and effort by having your computer help with organizing and analyzing data, and the more your computer can do for you, the better,” said Cory Myers, planning analyst for USA Health. “Having lessons accessible online allows you to learn at your own pace."

Three beginner lessons provide an overview and cover formatting and design, and functions and formulas. Intermediate lessons teach charts and graphs, time-saving techniques and data tables. Advanced lessons teach advanced functions, PivotTables and solver add-in.

To access the Excel lessons, log in to HealthStream from the USA Health Employee Hub. Choose the Catalog tab near the top. On the Catalog page, search for “Excel” to find a list of lessons.
