Open enrollment in employee health plans and SouthFlex ends Monday, December 2.

More than 1,400 employees attended the University of South Alabama Benefits & Wellness Expo on November 7-8, an increase of 23 percent over 2018, according to a count by Human Resources.

At the expo, employees visited tables to get information on a variety of topics, including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, USA Health services, wellness and more. As of Friday, Nov. 8, Human Resources staff had counted 434 participants at Children’s & Women’s Hospital, 456 at University Hospital and 545 at the Student Center on the main USA campus.

Open enrollment for the USA Health & Dental Plan, the USA VIVA Health & Dental Plan and SouthFlex ends at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2. Changes take effect on Jan. 1.
