To ensure your direct deposit payroll funds remain secure, complete DUO enrollment for two-factor authentication by this Friday, April 3.

There has been a significant increase in fraudulent activity targeting payroll. This scheme entails unauthorized individuals gaining access to employee PAWS accounts to reroute direct deposit funds.

To ensure your compensation remains secure, please review the following reminders regarding our security protocols:

An email with the subject "Alert: Changes to Direct Deposit Information" will be automatically sent to you whenever a change is made to your direct deposit information in PAWS. This email comes from USA Direct Deposit. It is your responsibility to monitor your inbox for these alerts. Contact Payroll immediately if you receive notification for a change that you did not authorize. If you fail to do so, USA Health will not be responsible for replacing misdirected funds.

Information Security is actively rolling out Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via DUO to add an additional layer of protection to your accounts.

USA Health employees should complete DUO enrollment by this Friday, April 3. For detailed instructions, you can use the provided guide.

Please remain vigilant: never use any of your University passwords on external websites. Be wary of phishing and always verify the sender’s address, as scammers often use look-alike emails. Do not click suspicious links.

Always complete your required annual Information Security HealthStream training. This program benefits our employees not only by strengthening USA Health's security posture but also by providing practical tips for everyday personal use.

As a reminder, no one at USA Health nor the University will ever ask for your password.
