As the only academic health system in the region, USA Health employs more than 600 physicians, including residents, fellows and faculty members who share a mission of helping people lead longer, better lives.

National Doctors’ Day is a holiday that honors physicians for the work they do for their patients, their communities and society. In 1990, former President George H. W. Bush proclaimed March 30 as National Doctors’ Day, marking the anniversary of the first use of general anesthesia in surgery.
