Deadline nears for employees to review, modify benefits

Benefits-eligible employees are required to use Employee Navigator during open enrollment to confirm benefit elections, update dependent demographics and make any updates to beneficiary designations for life insurance.

During Open Enrollment, which runs now through Friday, Oct. 24, benefits-eligible faculty, staff, and administrative employees may:

  • Enroll in the USA Choice Plan, USA Select Plan or the USA Consumer Plan
  • Make plan changes
  • Add or remove dependents
  • Enroll in SouthFlex Flexible Spending Accounts, VSP Vision, and Aflac voluntary plans

All enrollment changes will have an effective date of Jan. 1, 2026.

The Employee Navigator link and additional information is available online. 

Benefit education sessions are offered with Benefit Communication Insourcing. Benefit navigators are available to talk with employees about benefit offerings and to provide enrollment assistance. Additional information can be found on page 4 of the Benefits Guide.
