Deadline for safety training nears

The training is mandatory for all staff, including physicians, residents, fellows and advanced practice providers.

USA Health employees have two more opportunities to complete mandatory safety training before the Aug. 1 deadline. Those who have not attended a class by that date will face suspension until training is completed.

More than 4,800 USA Health employees have been trained as part of the Safety Starts With Me initiative, launched in July 2021 with the goal of creating a culture of safety and adopting a mindset of zero harm. The safety training is required for all staff, including physicians, residents, fellows and advanced practice providers.

Upcoming classes will be held:

  • Monday, July 25, 1-4 p.m.: Strada Conference Room
  • Monday, Aug. 1, 1-4 p.m.: Atlantis Room
