Supportive care programming is a FREE service of the Mitchell Cancer Institute that encourages patients to explore those therapies that complement and strengthen all aspects of healing while undergoing cancer therapy. MCI hosts and offers several classes that are available to all patients. Groups are designed to educate the mind, strengthen the body, and nurture hope for current and former cancer patients, their family members and caregivers.
The Med School Café lecture is located in the first floor conference room at the Strada Patient Care Center. The lecture and lunch are provided free of charge, but reservations are required. Save the date, Sunday, April 7, 2019, for USA Mitchell Cancer Institute’s Hope Grows Here, a farmers market brunch locally sourced from Baldwin County growers and producers.
The Hope Cup Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Mobile Country Club in Mobile. All proceeds from the tournament, presented by Springhill Toyota, will be used to fight melanoma and other skin cancers.

The 12th Annual GO Run 5K and one mile Fun Run/Walk presented by Catranis Family Charitable Foundation will be held September 14, 2019, at the University of South Alabama Moulton Tower & Alumni Plaza.
