Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) is an advanced, temporary life support for patients with severe, potentially reversible heart or lung failure. As one of the few institutions on the Gulf Coast equipped to provide ECMO, USA Health delivers rapid access to this critical therapy through a highly trained multidisciplinary team.
When someone is experiencing a stroke, time is critical. If a patient receives care within three hours of the first symptom of an ischemic stroke, the healthcare team at Providence Hospital can administer a clot-busting medication, which makes the patient more likely to fully recover and avoid long-term disability. Providence also provides rehabilitation services to help patients recover after a stroke.
In addition to performing procedures in their clinic, the surgeons of USA Health Providence Surgical Services perform many procedures at Providence Hospital. Their services including breast surgery, colorectal surgery, gynecologic surgery, hernia care, orthopaedic surgery, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.

Yellowhammer Coffee is located on the first floor of
Providence Medical Office Plaza in Building B. The shop is open weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The gift shop is on the first floor, just off the hospital lobby. The shop is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can reach the shop at 251-266-1370.
At Providence Hospital, we offer free wireless internet from anywhere inside the hospital to all of our patients and visitors.
Free visitor parking is located on the west side of the hospital, and a shuttle service is available by calling Security in advance at 251-266-1790. Three RV parking spaces with electrical hookups also are available. Please call Security at 251-266-1790 to arrange use of these spaces.
Free valet parking is available at the Providence Medical Office Plaza. Please check in at Building B under the canopy on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wheelchairs are available. Valet parking services can be reached at 251-266-1790.
