Helping others beat cancer.
Make a difference in the life of a cancer patient by volunteering in the Mitchell Cancer Institute’s Infusion Suite. The Chemo Sabe Volunteer Program offers you the opportunity to engage in direct interactions with patients as they receive treatment. By becoming a volunteer you will have the opportunity to make a tremendous difference in the lives of others. If you have a caring spirit and would like to bring comfort and hope to the people affected by the aggression of cancer we would love to hear from you.
Expectations and Placement
As a member of the MCI Chemo Sabe Volunteer Program, you will be fundamental to the care of patients. You are expected to be a goodwill ambassador and display a spirit of generosity and reliability. Placement is based on your availability (at least 4 hours per month), willingness to serve and the ability to meet specified health requirements. All persons, 18 years of age or older, are welcome to join our dedicated team.
