Nursing Career Ladder

At USA Health, we value our nurses. We know that their names and faces are the ones most likely to be remembered by patients who seek and receive care.

While every nurse can be a source of compassionate care, there is no substitute for experience. That’s why we’ve instituted a clinical ladder for our nursing staff. This development tool clarifies what is expected from a nurse at any given level. It also provides a defined pathway for nurses who want to advance their careers through the following clearly defined stages:

  • Novice
  • Advanced beginner
  • Competent
  • Proficient
  • Expert

As nurses add to their knowledge and skill sets through additional training, education and certifications, they can become eligible for promotions and increases in pay.
