About Dan Howard, M.B.A.
As the chief information officer, Dan Howard reviews and updates the strategy, implementation plan and support plan for the clinical transformation of the health care and business systems. He also directs and coordinates activities of clinical information systems ensuring an effective computing environment for patient care and administrative support for USA Health.
Prior to joining USA Health, Howard served as site chief information officer at Loma Linda University Health in California, where he had increasing leadership responsibilities since 2012. As the senior information services executive for Loma Linda University Health’s affiliate and partner hospitals, he focused on strategic business alignment, project management and collaboration with executive, physician and service-line leadership. He also worked closely with the system’s electronic medical record systems.
Howard earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from California State University San Bernardino in San Bernardino, Calif., and his master’s degree in business administration, with an information systems emphasis, from the University of Redlands in Redlands, Calif.
