This year's Think Pink Tea, hosted by the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute, is a virtual celebration of breast cancer awareness. You’ll experience:
- A fashion slide show featuring breast cancer survivors
- A demonstration on how to craft a charcuterie board (perfect for entertaining!) by local business owner Amy Hagler
- An exclusive Q&A on breast cancer with experts from USA Health
The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. Please RSVP online.
Hunter, a breast surgical oncologist, will present "Breast Cancer: risk factors, screening guidelines, and risk reduction" at the lecture. The event will be held virtually via Zoom.
The Hope Cup is held annually during May, which is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. Melanoma accounts for only 1 percent of all skin cancer cases, but is the most lethal, causing the greatest number of skin cancer deaths.
