The Hope Cup is held annually during May, which is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. Melanoma accounts for only 1 percent of all skin cancer cases, but is the most lethal, causing the greatest number of skin cancer deaths.
The golf tournament is a four-person scramble with putting contests, prizes on every hole and a survivor hole. Registration is at 10:30 a.m., with a golfer’s lunch at 11 a.m. and shotgun start at noon. An awards presentation will follow the tournament.
Proceeds will benefit the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Endowment at the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute.
