Hope Cup Golf Tournament

The Hope Cup Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Mobile Country Club in Mobile. All proceeds from the tournament, presented by Springhill Toyota, will be used to fight melanoma and other skin cancers.

The Hope Cup is held annually during May, which is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. Melanoma accounts for only 1 percent of all skin cancer cases, but is the most lethal, causing the greatest number of skin cancer deaths.

The golf tournament is a four-person scramble with putting contests, prizes on every hole and a survivor hole. Players can register on Eventbrite or download our Registration Form PDF

Registration is at 10:30 a.m., with a golfer’s lunch at 11 a.m. and shotgun start at noon. An awards presentation will follow the tournament.

Proceeds will benefit the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Endowment at the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute.

Celebrate Hope is the signature gala for USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute. Held the Thursday before Thanksgiving each year, the event features dishes by local chefs paired with wine and craft beer, as well as live entertainment. Since its inception, Celebrate Hope has generated more than $2.5 million for cancer research. This year's Presenting Sponsor is the USA Foundation.
