Canceled: 8th Annual Hope Cup Golf Tournament
In light of the current outbreak of COVID-19 and the fact that the WHO has now declared it a global pandemic, we are taking all reasonable precautions to keep our community safe and informed. Based on the expanding global outbreak and guidance from experts in public health and infectious disease, the Hope Cup Golf Tournament has been canceled. Thank you to all of our supporters!
When:May 07, 2020All day
The Hope Cup is held annually during May, which is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. Melanoma accounts for only 1 percent of all skin cancer cases, but is the most lethal, causing the greatest number of skin cancer deaths.
The golf tournament is a four-person scramble with putting contests, prizes on every hole and a survivor hole. Registration is at 10:30 a.m., with a golfer’s lunch at 11 a.m. and shotgun start at noon. An awards presentation will follow the tournament.
Proceeds will benefit the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Endowment at the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute.
Nationally certified car seat technicians from USA Health will inspect car seats to ensure they are properly installed. First Friday of the month excluding holidays.
The USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute’s Think Pink Tea is a free annual celebration of breast cancer awareness — a commitment to patients, survivors, advocates, and the friends and family of those impacted by breast cancer.
