The best way to know you are doing it right is to have your seat checked by a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. Alabama law requires children be in a safety restraint, such as a car seat, until age eight. Properly installed child safety seats significantly reduce your child’s risk, injury or death. To ensure your child is as safe as possible, sign up for a free safety check.
