Updates from USA Health | Public Resources | Employee Resources

Please note: The following content is intended for USA Health employees. Information more relevant to patients and the general public is available on the main USA Health COVID-19 Information Page.

Employee testing: Please refer to the Employee Testing Guide [PDF] and Employee Exposure Definitions [PDF] to determine whether testing is required. To schedule an appointment, employees should visit the Employee COVID Testing webpage and sign in using their Outlook email and password. Employees can select a 15-minute time slot, and the appointment will appear on their Outlook calendar. To reschedule, employees should delete the original appointment on their Outlook calendar and use the process to schedule a new one. Employee tests are conducted inside the Employee Health office, 1720 Center St., Suite 102, in front of Children's & Women's Hospital. Please use the rear entrance on the east side of the building.

Vaccination appointments: USA Health employees (or their managers) can self-schedule vaccination appointments by calling 251-410-7629.

    Inpatient Testing Policy

COVID-19 testing power plans have been developed to guide providers in selecting the appropriate isolation orders and COVID-19 lab orders. Three different power plans have been developed -- one each for University Hospital, PEDs, and OB/GYN -- and each has been embedded into the appropriate admission order sets. This document has been created to further explain these order sets [PDF].
