Family Learning Center - Preparing For Childbirth (6 p.m.)

The expectant mother and her support person may want to choose this virtual class which is held on Thursday evenings from 6-8 m. and Saturdays from 9-11 a.m. once a month.

Topics include: changes in pregnancy, overview of labor, comfort techniques, medical interventions, explanation of vaginal and cesarean births and postpartum recovery. This class will include a virtual tour of maternity areas. Expectant mothers should plan to attend around 28 weeks.

Reservations are required to attend classes.
