Canceled: The BFF Group (Breastfeeding Support)
In light of the current outbreak of COVID-19 and the fact that the WHO has now declared it a global pandemic, we are taking all reasonable precautions to keep our community safe and informed. Based on the expanding global outbreak and guidance from experts in public health and infectious disease, the BFF support group meetings have been canceled.

The BFF Group offers peer support, one-on-one breastfeeding help, and nurses at every meeting. Infant weight checks are available. Support partners and family members are welcome to attend.
Breastfeeding support for anyone needing help. All concerns are welcome including: nutrition, nipple assessment, supply issues, pain, mastitis, pumping issues, supplementing, and engorgement.
The meeting is located in the 1st floor conference room.
The All of Us Research Program, will present “The Future of Health Begins with You,” at the Med School Café lecture at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 13. The event will be held virtually via zoom.
The event, entitled “Sickle Cell Disease, Practical Issues XVIII: What’s in Your Genes? The Promise of a Cure,” is devoted to educating healthcare professionals on sickle cell disease.
The Hope Cup, presented by Springhill Toyota, is held annually during May, which is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. Melanoma accounts for only 1 percent of all skin cancer cases, but is the most lethal, causing the greatest number of skin cancer deaths.
