This class is a two-hour class for expectant and newly delivered mothers with support person(s) to learn about breastfeeding. Topics include: advantages, myths and facts, getting started, correct positioning, how to get baby latched, engorgement, returning to work, and problem solving.

Classes are free of charge to USA patients delivering at USA Children's & Women's Hospital; however, reservations are required. Classes must be reserved with a debit/credit card. A $15 fee will only be charged if a participant does not show for class or does not call to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations and rescheduling must be done 24 hours prior to class. All classes will meet in the 1st floor conference room. Please call the Education Department at (251) 415-1685 to make reservations.
Thursday classes are 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., and Saturday classes are 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
Celebrate Hope is the signature gala for USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute.
