In light of the current outbreak of COVID-19, we are taking all reasonable precautions to keep our community safe and informed. Based on the expanding global outbreak and guidance from experts in public health and infectious disease, the Breast Friends Forever (BFF) Breast Cancer Support Group meetings have been canceled.

The mission of BFF is to create an atmosphere for breast cancer survivors to come together and receive and give emotional support and psychological support to one another.
Supportive care programming is a FREE service of the Mitchell Cancer Institute that encourages patients to explore those therapies that complement and strengthen all aspects of healing while undergoing cancer therapy. MCI hosts and offers several classes that are available to all patients. Groups are designed to educate the mind, strengthen the body, and nurture hope for current and former cancer patients, their family members and caregivers. RSVP to register for lunch.
Robert Gilbert, M.D., a radiation oncologist at USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute and assistant professor of interdisciplinary clinical oncology at the USA College of Medicine, will present “Emerging Trends in Radiation for Breast Cancer,” at a Med School Café lecture on Thursday, Oct. 28, at noon. The event will be held virtually via Zoom.
