As an alumnus of the USA College of Medicine you have a unique ability to inspire and motivate our current students. The USA COM student body enjoys interacting with our alumni and have asked the Office of Medical Alumni Relations to help pave new avenues for building relationships with our alumni.
One of the best connections we could offer our alumni and students is a mentoring opportunity for 4th year medical students as they prepare for residency program interviews. Our alumni mentors are encouraged to help our students navigate the emotions and excitement of residency interviews, offer insight and guidance to our students, and perhaps offer tips for success and adjustment as they transition from medical school to residency.
We are excited to bring this project to life and feel that participation in this program will help foster a closer sense of community among our students and graduates.
Thank you for your interest in serving as a mentor to a fourth-year USA Medical student during the interview process! Please fill out the form using the link above to help us learn more about you. Once a match has been identified based on a student traveling to your area, you will be emailed by the USA Office of Medical Alumni Relations to assist in facilitating the connection.
We’re excited to help you find a COM alumni mentor as you begin your residency interview process! Please utilize the form using the link above by submitting one request per interview, per city. Please do not submit multiple cities in one form and allow 5-10 business days for a response from the alumni office.
