Trauma Symposium Sponsorship - Exhibitors


Dear Trauma & Critical Care Product Vendors,

You are cordially invited to next year’s Gulf Coast Acute Care Surgery Symposium.  It is our hope that some to the latest technological developments that you will exhibit will enhance trauma teams.  The symposium is offered to healthcare providers including physicians, nurses, technicians, EMS, residents and medical students throughout the Southern Region.  Last year’s event was the largest ever and we plan to keep growing.  This year our event will be held at the Battle House Hotel on April 4th & 5th, 2019.  This marks the 12th Annual William A.L. Mitchell Endowed Lecture will be given at 10:30 am. Our guest speaker will be Hasan Alam, MD.  He is the Norman Thompson Professor of Surgery and Section Head for the Section of General Surgery at the University of Michigan Hospital. There will be a number of opportunities for sponsors to enter act with the participates throughout all the events. The anticipated attendance for this event r is expected to be approximately 200 medical professionals, and EMS personnel from the State of Alabama and Southeastern region.

Our vendors enjoy a tremendous amount of exposure since they will be located within the heart of our symposium.  You’ll have ample opportunity to interact with all of our symposium attendees to really showcase your products and services.   To encourage participation, we will have a “visit the vendors” raffle.  We would greatly appreciate any door prizes that you would be able to donate to the raffle.  Lunch will be provided on site to increase considerable participant activity and interaction within the exhibit hall.  In order to help minimize the cost to professionals wishing to attend next year’s event, we are seeking support from corporations in the form of:

  • Booklet sponsor
  • Educational Grant Funds
  • Sponsorship

We have five (5) levels of sponsorship next year: Regular Exhibit, Breakfast Package, Snack Package, Lunch Package, and Raffle Prize. (see attached form for pricing).

Exhibition tables will be available with time provided during the day for seminar participants to visit the vendor tables. The vendor table fee will be $1,000.  The fee will include free meal ticket, if you plan on bringing more than one representative, please let us know.  Unless we hear otherwise, we will plan for two representative per vendor and will order lunches accordingly. If more than two representatives attend, additional meal tickets can be purchased for $30 prior to the Symposium.    

If you need special accommodations, please let us know.  The space we provide for you will include:    

  • 30” x 6’ table
  • Table cloth on table
  • 2 Chairs
  • Lunch for 2 representatives
  • Electrical Power
  • After symposium is over if someone does not remember your phone number, address or website, they will be able to get this information from our website.
  • A listing in our booklet handouts (if registered before March 10th)
  • If internet service is needed for your table, this will be purchased by you directly from Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza.

Exhibition space are assigned on a first come, first serve basis.  The hotel will provide valet parking at an additional expense.  You may have items shipped to the hotel prior to the event.  You may contact Rebecca Scarbrough @ 251-471-7971 for shipping information.  Set up will begin at 6 AM the day of the events.  Please sign in at the registration desk before setting up for the Symposium when you arrive.  No exhibitor will be allowed in the Exhibit Area prior to receipt of the full payment and the Exhibitor/Vendor Contract has been signed and completed.
