Problems affecting the lungs and breathing are among those most disruptive to our quality of life. In some cases, pulmonary disorders including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are life-threatening.

If you battle respiratory problems, our pulmonologists can help. We offer complete diagnostic evaluations for patients with a wide variety of lung diseases. Once a diagnostic plan has been completed, a specific treatment plan is created for your individual needs. USA has several special clinical centers including Pulmonary Hypertension, Sleep Disorders, and Cystic Fibrosis Centers to meet special needs. The Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine division also participates in clinical trials that may provide you with the opportunity to try promising, innovative treatments not available elsewhere.

Our Pulmonologists work with specialists in other areas such as surgery, oncology, infectious diseases, etc.

We provide a multidisciplinary approach to your care for optimal health.
