MCI offers a robust training environment for postdoctoral students interested in careers in cancer research. Current postdoctoral fellows are supported through competitive extramural funding sources such as NIH or DOD grants, and internally supported positions. Our trainees are well-represented at national meetings such as the American Association for Cancer Research and are recognized for their novel research contributions through the award of numerous travel grants. In addition to the basic science research, our trainees can participate in translational science and entrepreneurship/commercialization through interactions with our clinical programs and the Melton Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the USA Mitchell College of Business. Energetic and motivated postdoctoral fellows who want to make a difference are encouraged to contact individual Principal Investigators to discuss potential opportunities. A full list of our Principal Investigators can be found at Research Faculty.
