Dr. Galla, originally from Birmingham, Alabama, earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington where he graduated Cum Laude.  He then completed his residency and internship programs at Duke University Medical School in Durham, North Carolina.   He completed both his cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio.
