For RESIDENTS AND FELLOWS
UpToDate describes itself as "an electronic, evidence-based clinical decision support resource that covers over 10,500 topics in over 20 medical specialties and includes more than 28,000 graphics, more than 400,000 references and a drug database."
During November 2015, the USA Biomedical Library is offering UpToDate for a trial period. While the mobile app is not available during the trial period, the online version is optimized for mobile access. To access the UpToDate via the trial, you will need to be within the University system or visit the USA Biomedical Library online to log into the system. On the library's landing page, click UpToDate Trial (http://www.uptodate.com.libproxy.usouthal.edu/contents/search). Also, the link will be available here in New Innovations and on this GME webpage for residents and fellows.
The library needs to know the level of interest in this resource. The more positive feedback that the library gets, the more likely that UpToDate will become a permanent resource. Please send email feedback to Jie Li at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 251.460.6890.
