August 8, 2013 - USA Patients Receive Visit from Coach Jones, Football Players
Patients at USA Children's & Women's Hospital received a special visit from USA Head Football Coach Joey Jones, Jaguar football players and cheerleaders. SouthPaw, USA's mascot, was also on hand to entertain the children.
Coach Jones and the players took time out of their busy practice schedule to visit patients at the hospital as the team prepares for its season opener against Southern Utah on August 29 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
The visit was part of the Mapp Child and Family Life Program at Children's & Women's, which uses "distraction therapy" to help pediatric patients and their families cope with illness and injury.
