Over time, a computer’s temporary memory can become filled with data. Shutting down or restarting your computer at the end of the day can greatly reduce computer errors. This clears out the temporary memory, and additionally gives the computer a chance to cool down.

When a computer is locked by another person and it will not let you log in, you can simply restart the computer to force the computer to log off!

Printer jams are often caused by sheets of paper sticking together. This sticking occurs due to compression and static cling. If you fan the pages of the paper stack before loading it into the printer tray, you can drastically reduce the chance of the printer jamming!
