The Alabama Council of Hospital Auxiliaries (ACHA) Division IV will hold its quarterly meeting on Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. at USA Medical Center. The ACHA is the statewide organization designed to support volunteers at hospitals, nursing homes and other health care organizations.
The purpose of the quarterly meeting is to discuss topics of interest to the auxiliary and share ideas for serving membership through programs and services. The theme of this year’s projects is Heart Health.
An affiliate of the Alabama Hospital Association, the Alabama Council of Hospital Auxiliaries provides programs and services that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of auxiliaries in an effort to improve the overall quality of health care provided to Alabamians. District IV is comprised of medical facilities in 15 counties in the lower half of the state.
