Danny Reed has been promoted to assistant director of facilities management at Children’s & Women’s Hospital.
A longtime employee of USA Hospitals, Reed has more than 20 years experience in the management of employees and construction projects. Prior to his promotion, Reed served as superintendent for construction at CW responsible for space management and planning of space allocations.
“Danny is not only very knowledgeable in the areas of National Fire Protection and Alabama Building Codes, but he is also an excellent designer,” said Scott Crenshaw, director of facilities management. “His expertise with AutoCAD is invaluable. Danny also possesses the integrity and values I'm looking for in my management team.”
In his new position, Reed will continue as project manager for construction projects but will also assist with HVAC, biomedical and day-to-day preventive maintenance.
Reed began his career in 1978 in planning and development at USA Medical Center and moved to Children’s & Women’s Hospital in 2004.
