Anna Gillman has recently been promoted to Inservice Specialist in Staff Development at the University of South Alabama Medical Center.
"Anna is bright, enthusiastic, hard-working and totally committed to the mission of USA Medical Center. She is not only an asset to our department, but also to the hospital,” said Betty Bullock, director of Staff Development.
In her new role, Gillman will coordinate all personnel and nursing orientation for the entire hospital. The department also provides CPR training and ongoing education for hospital employees throughout the year.
A graduate of Spring Hill College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Gillman joined the Medical Center staff right out of school as a staff and charge nurse. She most recently served as clinical nurse educator for ICU nurses and staff.
Gillman recently won the University's prestigious Christie Miree Outstanding Employee Award, as well.
