The University of South Alabama Medical Center will hold a LifeSouth Community Blood Centers blood drive on Thursday, Sept. 25 and Friday Sept. 26 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in its first floor pathology library.
Those who donate to the blood drive will be entered to win door prizes including USA Jaguars footballs signed by USA Football Coach Joey Jones, cash giveaways, gift cards to Moe's Southwest Grill and McAlister's Deli, and a Genny Bear (a unique kind of teddy bear made by USA Biomedical Library Senior Library Geneva Staggs).
All donors will receive a free T-shirt, and those who attempt to donate but are not eligible will receive a meal ticket for the USA Medical Center cafe. All participants will enjoy free snacks and freshly baked cookies.
