Two radiation oncologists joined MCI in July.
Weisi Yan, M.D., Ph.D., comes from New York-Presbyterian Hospital, New York Hospital Queens and the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. Yan will direct MCI’s CyberKnife program. His specialties are head and neck cancers, lung cancer, lymphoma and GI cancers.
Yan earned his M.D. from China Medical University in Shenyang, China, and a Ph.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College.
Clayton Smith, M.D., Ph.D., comes to MCI from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where he most recently served as chief resident in the Radiation Oncology Residency Program. Smith’s clinical interests include neuroscience, brain tumors, tumors of the central nervous system, and head and neck cancers.
Smith earned his M.D. and Ph.D. from Tulane University in New Orleans.
