The Sakai modules are available should a program want to participate.  However, this site is for those programs that do not want to utilize the online Sakai program.  The following resources are available to assist programs in meeting the ACGME's Common Program Requirements for resident QI, research and evidence based medicine.

  1. Institutional Resident QI Initiative - This initiative will assist programs that do not want to utilize the online Sakai module; however, do want to use the institutional QI initiative. 
  2. Basics of Research - This site will help programs provide residents with the ability to investigate and evaluate their care of patients, appraise and assimilate scientific evidence, and continuously improve patient care based on constant self-evaluation and life-long learning as required by the ACGME's Core Competency in “Practice-based Learning and Improvement”, which requires that residents/fellows in all programs demonstrate this. 
  3. Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) - This site will assist your program in providing didactic training for when teaching your resident's EBM-related skills.
